“Christians” fighting agains “Christians”. I guess the Holy Spirit does not lend a hand in a person understanding and finding the truth in any bible and call on the name of Jesus and believe in Him so they can be saved.

Christians have every right to be Christians. You say be yourself? I want to be a Christian. You’re impeaching on my right to be “myself”…… doesn’t that sound hypocritical to you. You’re just doing what you’re preaching against… do you not see that? As Christians we are individuals, we are the Body of Christ but as individuals sense God has granted each individual with his or her own individual gifts and spiritual insightfulness. again with the irrelevant bible references, why cant you understand Ps 14:1 means nothing if it was written by a man, which it was, a man with the same manic delusions as all other religious, zealot, comfort blanket hugging fools, it has been proved that a thousand years passed between the first line of the bible being written and the last, it is just a collection of stories being added to periodically over the years in order to control people with fear of the unknown and unprovable

why do people continue to believe that you wrote the bible and not man, why do people quote the bible when trying to prove your existence when it has the same legitimacy as the phone book? why, if you are a supreme being as some people claim, do you not verify your existence by blazing your “word” in 1000ft letters across the sky thus proving once and for all that you exist, something that nobody could deny?, but you don’t do you? because the tooth fairy cant either

The New Living Translation is a revised version of Ken Taylor’s 1971 ‘ The Living Bible.’ These all are derived from the same corrupt Wescott and Hort manuscripts.
If you like a Bible that gives you a break down of verses, I would suggest the 1901 Old Scofield reference Bible. King James version ONLY!
Oxford publishing puts this one out.
But remember.. as with all Bibles.. commentaries are the opinions of men, and of what THEY think certain passages mean. so be careful.

I been reading it because I like the way it brakes down the verses.
The Catholic Bible, The NAB is in the line of the Latin Vulgate of 400 A.D. of which the Apocrypha or (14 deuterocanonical book appeared.)
The Catholic bible contains 3 codexes: Vaticanus, Siniaticus, and Alexandrinus of which were corrupt manuscripts of Gnostics Origen and Philo.
The King James does not have these manuscripts in the line.
Luk 2:33: There are too many variations in the Greek manuscripts for this verse to cover them all here. However, the name Joseph appears to be a later clarification. The original is more likely to be patēr (“πατήρ”) meaning father. This can be confusing since Joseph was not the biological father of Jesus. He only held the role of father in a practical sense. This may have been the motivation for this clarification.
1 Ti 3:16: The early Greek manuscripts have 4 variations on this verse: 1) hos (“ὅς”) meaning “He”, 2) hos theos (“ὅς θεός”) meaning “He God”, 3) ho (“ὅ”) meaning “It”, and 4) theos (“θεός”) meaning God. There is good evidence suggesting that hos (“ὅς”) meaning “He” was the original wording. However, I agree the meaning is not as clear as the KJV.
